Great turnout for the September 11 Trash Pick-up Day! According to Kal’s count, there were twenty-one volunteers and 30 bags collected.
The Trash Pick-up day for September is the 11th. Meet at Benches Plaza at 10am and return at 12. Here is the FLYER

After 16 MUNA neighbors volunteered to pick up sidewalk trash and were pleased with the results, Kalman has set up a second Trash-Pickup Day as Auguts 7.

MUNA is holding a Trash-Pickup Day July 10 organized by Kalman Varga with co-chair Jennifer LaRocca.
They are working wth the DPW “Adopt-a-Street ” program which will be providing gloves, trash bags, pickers and brooms. DPW will also pick up the trash when it is left at specified corners.
